And yes, sometimes I throw in an alternative band or 2 - and today I have some really cool acoustic performances from bands that are FOR SURE alternative - but the songs are bad ass. Speaking of alternative do you remember Crash Test Dummies. Their lead singer may be one of the douchiest people in music. I'll let him explain why in a little bit. Doug from Hoobastank talks about his pre show rituals. Red Sun Rising explains the 2 bands they listened to when they were growing up that have made them want to continue to do music - and you will not believe the 2 bands they mention. Charlene in the UK, I gotcha covered today. I'm going to play 2 of his BEST songs that radio NEVER plays. Dave Grohl will talk about the weird way one of their biggest songs was written. I have the coooolest song you've never heard from the band Motionless in White, plus the singer Chris will tell us the weird way he learned to scream. AND you'll learn a really cool fact you didn't know about the song COME OUT AND PLAY from the Offspring. Let's start with the band NOTHING MORE - they're from San Antonio TEXAS. The bands lead singer Jonny Hawkins was the drummer - and the band did nothing until he became the singer. After that switch, they were off.

• I've been listening to all of your stations for the past two weeks - and I'm not kissing your asses - but all of you have exceptional rock stations. You should be proud, and let me tell you, I'm so happy to be able to say that and actually mean it. I know that all of you spend an unbelievable amount of time doing what you do - and if no one has told you lately - YOU ROCK and I appreciate and respect you. Also I can't thank you enough for running my little show. Please, by ALL means, feel free to send me your thoughts on the show, ways to make it better, etc.
 
• INTRO -  Coming up, 3 Doors Down and Candlebox - 2 of my personal favorite bands are touring together, and it's blowing my mind. Kevin Martin from CB and Brad Arnold sit down and interview each other, and I'll play a clip from that, and of course we will rock some 3 Doors Down and some Candlebox. We'll do a double shot of one of the best rock singers and song writers of all time, whom, killed himself on May 18, 2017. I'll also do a double shot from a band from San Francisco that formed in 1991 - and when you find out who it is, it will make you feel EXTREMELY old.
